About Us
Our Mission
"RDA Brigadoon enables people with disabilities and volunteers to experience enjoyment, challenge and a sense of achievement through participation in therapeutic and recreational horse activities, resulting in the development of abilities, life skills, improved quality of life and attainment of personal goals. Operated by trained and caring people committed to our aims now and in the future, RDA Brigadoon is recognised as having active involvement within the Swan Valley equestrian and general community."

RDA Brigadoon commenced operation in 2007 after years of planning with the State Equestrian Centre (SEC) to develop an unused area into suitable premises for the provision of RDA services.

With help from Lotterywest,The Outer Metropolitan Community Fund (OMCF) and volunteers we have been able to transform the designated area at the SEC into an arena that has been designed especially for the provision of RDA activities including a Hippotherapy arena that will allow us to providing this unique therapy to our clients.

We are continually developing the facilities at the centre in order to make it one of the best in the State. If you would like more information about our projects and how you can help please visit the "support our centre" page or contact us.
